Here's something to keep in mind as you go to bed tonight...
Try your best to wake up at the same time each morning. Same goes for bedtime :) make it consistent!
This helps to set your circadian rhythm and get you on a perfectly timed 24hr sleep cycle. This also helps with your alertness during the day.
Research at Northwester University also shows that going to bed a the same time each night helps the heart recover from the day's activities (and regulate stress hormones) which can lower your risk of heart disease.
So create a soothing bedtime ritual with a consistent bedtime and stick to it! You're heart and health will thank you!
